About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Concrete Apprentice to join our construction team. This position will perform a variety of tasks related to the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with a team to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Basic knowledge of construction tools and techniques.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Valid Ohio driver's license with the ability to meet insurability standards.
Must have cell phone to clock in and out daily, log jobs, and follow other company communications.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in construction or concrete work is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory.
Certification in OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety is a plus but not required.
Versatility and additional skills like lawncare/chemical application.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of tasks related to the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
Assist with snow removal and de-icing during winter months.
Clock in and out daily, log jobs, and follow other company communications via cell phone.
