About The Position

Ponte Palmero Senior Living is seeking friendly, professional, and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Concierges. As the first point of contact for residents, families, guests, and visitors, the Concierge plays a vital role in creating a welcoming environment while providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. The Concierge is responsible for greeting visitors, assisting residents and their families, arranging community tours, answering and directing calls on a multi-line telephone system, and providing clerical support to the administrative team. This position supports the community's mission by delivering outstanding hospitality and ensuring a positive experience for everyone who enters our community.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to interact professionally with residents, families, visitors, physicians, healthcare professionals, supervisors, and fellow team members.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies and high-volume situations.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check and required health screenings, including physical and TB testing.

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years of experience in hospitality, customer service, front desk reception, hotel operations, healthcare, or senior living.

Responsibilities

  • Greet residents, guests, visitors, and prospective residents in a warm, professional, and welcoming manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to resident, family, and guest requests.
  • Answer and manage a multi-line telephone system, directing calls and relaying messages accurately and professionally.
  • Arrange and support community tours for prospective residents and families.
  • Monitor the Emergency Alert System and respond immediately to resident calls and emergencies according to established procedures.
  • Assist residents by answering questions, addressing concerns, and directing requests to the appropriate department.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, postage, deliveries, and package distribution.
  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties including filing, copying, data entry, and office support.
  • Maintain a neat, organized, and professional reception area and lobby.
  • Ensure community information and marketing materials are current and available.
  • Observe and report any resident changes in condition or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Comply with California mandated reporter requirements regarding known or suspected abuse of dependent adults or elders.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, and team members.
  • Support community marketing efforts through positive interactions, tours, and telephone communications.
  • Foster teamwork and collaborate effectively with all departments.
  • Represent Ponte Palmero Senior Living with professionalism, compassion, and respect at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Business Office Director or Executive Director.
