About The Position

The Healthcare Concierge serves as the first point of contact for residents, family members, visitors, and vendors within the healthcare setting. This role provides high-quality customer service while supporting residents and families. Answers incoming healthcare calls and transfer them to the appropriate unit. Receives visitors, ensures proper sign-in procedures, and assists residents’ families and friends with directions to healthcare units. Relays route information accurately and promptly. Distributes resident, business, and inner-office mail and packages. Collaborates with the Independent Living Concierge to schedule healthcare residents’ medical appointments. Assists residents by placing work orders for maintenance or housekeeping needs. Provides general office support for residents, including making copies and handling small clerical tasks. Orders supplies, monitors stock levels, and ensure timely delivery of supplies to healthcare units. Prepares notes for healthcare meetings (staff, dining, training, etc.) and ensures accurate documentation.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of standard office software and database systems.
  • Effectively interacts with residents, families, staff, and vendors.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Professional, courteous, and compassionate demeanor.
  • Must be enrolled in a UA degree program and meet minimum credit hour requirements during the academic year: Undergraduate Students must be registered for at least 6 credit hours during fall/spring semesters; Graduate Students must be registered for at least 4.5 credit hours during fall/spring semesters; International Students must be registered full-time (Undergraduate = 12 credit hours, Graduate = 9 credit hours) during fall/spring semesters.
  • Enrollment requirements must be maintained for the duration of on-campus employment.
  • Individual hiring departments and programs may also have additional eligibility requirements for employment.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation and information obtained from social media and other internet sources.
