What this job involves: As a Conference Services Concierge with JLL's Experience Management team, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for associates, executives, and visitors at Mutual of Omaha's headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska. You'll deliver VIP-level hospitality by managing conference logistics, coordinating meeting spaces, and ensuring every guest interaction exceeds expectations. Your expertise in the property, local area, and available amenities will enable you to anticipate needs and create memorable experiences across all touchpoints—whether in person, by phone, email, or through digital channels. You'll collaborate with building management and property services teams to support a thriving workplace that consistently delivers excellence. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
1–2 years of high-touch hospitality experience in luxury hotels, fine dining, VIP services, or upscale corporate environments
1–2 years of meeting and event support services experience
Prior experience in luxury hotel, retail, or restaurant "front of house" guest service
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact professionally with diverse personalities
Strong problem-solving abilities and demonstrated passion for delivering exceptional, personalized service
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods as needed
Flexibility to work scheduled hours with dependability and punctuality
On-site presence required
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Previous community involvement or networking experience that supports relationship building and local area knowledge
Experience using visitor management systems, conference room booking software, or similar workplace technology platforms
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining composure under pressure

Responsibilities

Greet and assist all guests, associates, and executives with warm, professional service that sets the tone for their experience at the property
Coordinate conference and meeting support by managing room bookings, logistics such as catering and technology setup, and ensuring spaces are prepared to exceed expectations
Anticipate guest needs by staying informed on upcoming events, property offerings, dining options, and local recommendations, proactively offering solutions that enhance their visit
Manage reservations, visitor registration, badge distribution, and package handling with accuracy while maintaining a polished and approachable presence
Respond to inquiries and requests via phone, email, and in person with professionalism, following up as needed to ensure complete satisfaction
Conduct regular checks of conference spaces to verify cleanliness, functionality of technology and equipment, and proper room setup
Coordinate with building management and maintenance to report equipment issues promptly and support safety protocols as needed
Maintain the concierge area by keeping literature stocked, signage updated, and the environment organized and welcoming
