About The Position

As our Evening Concierge, you will take over after the first concierge shift of the day and close out pending tasks. You’ll be the first person people see as they walk into the building and the first voice they hear when they call in. You'll be involved in so many things throughout the day that'll make the time go fast. This is not a position where you'll just sit behind a desk answering phones. Oh, no. This shift is usually busiest at the start of shift and quiets down towards the end. You'll be the go-to person for everyone in the building. You'll handle resident requests, log packages and sometimes drop-off to residents' doors, plan resident social events, coordinate maintenance requests and help the office team. You're the glue that keeps the community together.

Requirements

  • Experience in a customer service role (hospitality, retail, or property management preferred).
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to attend Dweck’s New Hire Orientation, held every second Monday of the month (paid day, 9:30 AM–5:00 PM at Headquarters office in DC).

  • Training will be provided if no prior customer service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet incoming guests and residents along with their furry family members.
  • Assist guests and guide them in the right direction.
  • Answer incoming calls and transfer them to the appropriate person.
  • Take down information for after-hours calls to pass to the team.
  • Log packages and deliver them to resident's door upon request.
  • Conduct package audits to ensure delivery and improve efficiency of package handling.
  • Assist residents with emergencies, requests, or concerns (e.g., lockouts, restaurant reservations, clubroom reservations, guest parking passes, noise complaints, neighbor behavior).
  • Respond to and coordinate service requests with the maintenance team within 24 hours, and immediately for emergencies.
  • Follow up with residents after service requests are completed to ensure satisfaction.
  • Plan resident social events with a theme of the month or something entertaining.
  • Assist the office team with administrative tasks.
