About The Position

The Concierge is responsible for providing a positive experience for residents, families, visitors, and team members by proactively assisting with questions or problems. This role involves managing the lobby, handling inquiries, supporting sales and marketing efforts, assisting with business office tasks, and promoting resident engagement in programming. The Concierge must adhere to company policies and procedures and may be assigned additional duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Professional and respectful communication skills.
  • Ability to manage the lobby and maintain a clean and neat environment.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing standards.
  • Ability to handle resident documentation and maintain confidentiality.
  • Understanding of company policies and procedures.

  • Experience in a concierge or customer service role.
  • Familiarity with lead management programs.
  • Experience in a senior living or healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively assist residents, families, visitors, and team members with questions or problems to ensure a positive experience.
  • Greet all visitors and answer incoming calls professionally and respectfully.
  • Monitor the entry area for visitors and guests, greet and direct them as necessary.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls, forward calls, and take messages.
  • Receive and send packages for residents, and assist residents with mailing letters and packages.
  • Manage the lobby, ensuring the desk and lobby are clean and neat, creating a comfortable and inviting area.
  • Assist the Director of Resident Engagement and/or others in promoting programming with residents in the lobby.
  • Manage the inquiry process, connecting callers or visiting customers to the appropriate inquiry team member.
  • Respond to inquiries and/or conduct tours when the Director of Sales and Marketing, Executive Director, and other Directors are unavailable.
  • Facilitate experiences/tours of the community as needed.
  • Support the marketing standards of the community.
  • Assist with duties related to the Lead Management Program.
  • Assist with assembling marketing packets as needed.
  • Assist in processing new resident documentation.
  • Assist in maintaining resident files and documentation while upholding confidentiality.
  • Promote and encourage residents to participate in programming.
  • Follow and communicate company policies and procedures.
