About The Position
Guardian Service Industries, a 4th generation family-owned corporation established in 1918, provides janitorial, security, pest control, and engineering & operations staffing services. They serve over 1,000 clients across the East Coast and New England, including commercial, government, residential, educational, industrial, transportation, and retail sectors. This role is for a Concierge in a high-end luxury building in NYC, requiring relevant experience. The position involves all shifts, 7 days a week, with a pay rate of $23.08 per hour. A minimum of 1 year of Concierge experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities
- Positively interact with residents, guests, and vendors while assisting with day-to-day requests and resolving complaints
- Communicate with building management and other staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Log and keep track of both concierge and building keys for resident use or move-in/move outs
- Maintain safety and security of the building, including monitoring security cameras, responding to emergencies and concerns promptly and efficiently, and exercising great judgment including escalating issues immediately
- Handle package deliveries, including logging and distributing, as well as external vendor deliveries
- Maintain accurate and complete shift logs ensuring proper "handover" for successful communication through shift changes
