About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Concierge Security Officer. Success in this role requires an outstanding personality and strong people skills, with a focus on hospitality, guest engagement, and creating meaningful interactions. Strong observation skills and attention to detail are also crucial for ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $21/hour, with DailyPay available. The role is located in the Greater Los Angeles Area, California, with set schedules for full-time and part-time day shifts (5:00 AM - 1:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 9:30 PM). Requirements

Authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
Possess a state security license (BSIS Guard Card)
Possess additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security training can be obtained during the hiring process)
Strong report writing skills
Good eyesight and excellent abilities to maintain focus
Strong proficiency with technology

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience (hospitality, hotel, corporate lobby, theme park, or similar)
Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience

Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors, employees, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner
Provide a welcoming and professional presence across the venue
Assist with directions, general inquiries, and visitor support
Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats and coordinate emergency teams
Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
Control access to secure areas and protect property and exhibits
Control ingress and egress for both guests and employees
Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Collaborate with site management and the security team to ensure site safety
