About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Concierge Security Officer for a post in Sunnyvale, CA. This role emphasizes customer service and involves working with people on all shifts in various environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The ideal candidate will have a natural ability to engage with others, reassuring and inspiring confidence. This is a full-time position with a set schedule available on day, swing, and overnight shifts.

Requirements

Six months of security experience required
Must have a valid driver's license
Be at least 21 years of age
Be authorized to work in the U.S.
Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
You have a state security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
Exceptional customer service skills
Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
You have at least 1 year of security experience

Responsibilities

Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
Manage access control
Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
Answer questions in person or by phone
Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
