About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer for a site in Newark, Delaware. The role emphasizes customer service and building meaningful connections while working with people in settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The position offers schedules of 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m., or 12:00 a.m.–8:00 a.m., at $19.50 per hour. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Have basic phone and computer skills.
• Hold a valid Delaware security license.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Be able to walk, stand, sit, and climb stairs for long periods.

Nice To Haves

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
