About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Concierge Security Officer. This role emphasizes building meaningful connections and providing excellent customer service in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including mornings, evenings, and overnights, with days off varying based on site needs. This is a flex schedule and full-time hours are not guaranteed.

Requirements

Authorized to work in the U.S.
High School Diploma or GED
Exceptional customer service skills
Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
At least 3 years of Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement experience
DC Special Police Officer - Unarmed or DC Security Officer license
At least 21 years of age or older
CPR/First Aid Certification
Phone skills and computer literacy
Must be able to successfully complete a 40-hour basic training course
Able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process

Responsibilities

Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
Manage access control
Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
Answer questions in person or by phone
Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
