About The Position
Cheer Home Care is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to older adults in their homes. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans and provides ongoing feedback to clients, client representatives, and nurses. The role is based in La Jolla and North San Diego County and is scheduled for 12-hour day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The posting lists hourly pay as $45–$80 based on experience in the opening details and $48–$75 based on experience in the benefits section. Team bonuses may also be available.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted California registered nurse license.
- Three years of experience as a registered nurse.
- Proof of a negative TB result.
- Physical screening documentation from within the last year.
- Active California driver's license and car insurance.
- Cell phone with internet access.
Nice To Haves
- Home Health experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete assessments of clients and their needs.
- Educate clients and families.
- Provide chronic care management.
- Develop care plans and establish goals.
- Provide post-surgical and wound care as needed.
- Provide wellness support.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide ongoing feedback to clients, client representatives, and nurses.
