About The Position

The Carriages of Rochester is growing its TEAM and is looking for individuals with a passion for serving older adults. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, dedicated, and take pride in providing quality care, respect, and friendship. This role supports residents who desire independence while receiving assistance with daily living. The community offers a great TEAM environment, appreciative residents, and a focus on maintaining a clean and safe assisted living community with a family-like atmosphere. Part-time hours are needed: Wednesday and Friday from 5pm-8pm and every other Saturday from 9am-4pm.

Requirements

• A strong desire to help others and compassion for the elderly is a must.
• This job requires a high school diploma
• At least 1 year experience in clerical work.
• A full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing are mandatory.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer multi-line telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate person.
• Greets and directs visitors and vendors.
• Promptly addresses resident’s requests and complaints.
• Receives, sorts, and forward’s incoming mail.
• Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services.
• Assists with other clerical duties such as inputting data, photocopying, faxing, filing, collating etc.
