About The Position

The Ridge Senior Living is seeking a full-time Concierge / Receptionist to be the welcoming first face or voice and brand ambassador to residents, families, and visitors. This role requires dedication, hard work, friendliness, and a passion for making a difference in someone's life. The ideal candidate will also be a strong leader capable of guiding a team to success. The shift for this position is Thursday through Monday, from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. Requirements

  • Minimum two years of experience in a related position.
  • High School education is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Receptionist/Front desk experience is preferred.
  • Experience in the long-term care industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors seeking information about the property.
  • Be responsive to the needs of people who inquire about the property and/or who are in the building for meetings with administrative personnel.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate office or resident apartment.
  • Ensure that residents, team members, family members, visitors, and vendors follow all community communicable disease protocols, including recording all temperatures taken.
  • Assist residents, family members, and guests with general requests.
  • Arrange for tours of the property for individuals making spontaneous visits or those who have made an appointment for the tour.
  • Answer telephones, record and channel information, direct calls to the appropriate individual or department, and relay messages in a timely, clear, polite, concise, and professional manner.
  • Display knowledge of the services, programs, and other pertinent information regarding the property.
  • Manage the mail meter, stamps, making copies, and other tasks related to office operations.
  • Process incoming mail and packages.
  • Distribute mail to appropriate mailboxes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
