Operating from the Residential Lobby, the Residential Concierge responds to a wide variety of homeowner requests by accurately assessing the resident’s needs and inquiries; offering personal recommendations and personalized touches to achieve maximum resident satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.

Requirements

  • Good communication skills in French
  • An intermediate knowledge of English is necessary to understand the needs of international customers, explain the services offered, and ensure a personalized experience.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of concierge experience in a luxury environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Available to work any shift, including morning, afternoon, evening and overnight
  • Ability to use variety of software

Nice To Haves

  • Post-secondary education is preferred
  • Previous Four Seasons concierge experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Handle all interactions with residents with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests when possible; resolve resident complaints; assist residents with information regarding residence/hotel services, hours of operation, key residence or hotel personnel, internal events, directions, etc.
  • Respond to all resident inquiries accurately and promptly, providing recommendations based on local knowledge and residence practices.
  • Accurately and promptly handle incoming and outgoing packages, faxes, messages, and emails; store and retrieve residents’ packages, groceries, luggage, dry cleaning, and flowers.
  • Manage and grant access to buildings and units for all vendors/contractors/service providers/guests upon authorization; participate in scheduling vendors/contractors, verify identities, and provide appropriate access to owners’ vendors/contractors/service providers.
  • Monitor access to entry doors and elevators.
  • Ensure safety and prevent unauthorized access during the night; conduct 1–2 rounds of the residential public areas during the shift.
  • Verify that all materials and information on restaurants, museums, attractions, maps, and other local points of interest are current and up to date.
  • Be knowledgeable about local activities (theatre, sports, concerts, shows, special exhibits, tours) and build strong relationships with providers to offer information, tickets, and reservations to residents.
  • Update owner profiles by entering any relevant information.
  • Use various software systems to accurately log resident requests (e.g., technical or housekeeping requests), and ensure correct billing.
  • Monitor the fire alarm panel and respond to emergency situations, such as providing emergency personnel (firefighters, paramedics, etc.) access to the premises.
  • Coordinate elevator reservations for move-ins and move-outs after the initial occupancy period.
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Assist Residential Services Attendants with their duties and responsibilities in their absence or during peak periods.
  • Work closely with hotel staff, including the night team, to ensure smooth handling of resident deliveries, reservations, special requests, and to maintain overall building security.
  • Perform any other related tasks or projects as requested by the Director of Residences or hotel management.
