About The Position
This role involves selling concessions, including soft drinks and various food items, to customers at events. The Concessions Worker will serve customers efficiently and in a friendly manner, following outlined steps of service. They will interact with customers, resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner, and relay relevant information to their supervisor. The position requires performing sales transactions in a reasonable and timely fashion, accurately recording purchases, making change, accepting payment, and issuing receipts. Responsibilities also include managing assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring compliance with overage/shortage standards, and performing other duties such as replenishing condiments and general supplies, maintaining the cleanliness of the concession area, and ensuring compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Ability to perform sales transactions in a reasonable and timely fashion.
- Ability to enter sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
- Ability to make change, accept acceptable forms of payment and issue receipts to customers.
- Ability to follow standard procedures for cash handling.
- Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring that the cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
- Ability to replenish condiments and general supplies.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness concession area.
- Ensures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
