About The Position

Position Summary We are seeking Concessions Team Members to support the efficient operation of concession stands by preparing food, serving guests, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This role ensures high quality service by following established procedures for food safety, cash handling, and guest interaction. Employees are expected to work collaboratively with stand leadership to maintain speed of service and product consistency during events. Work is performed under direct supervision, with clear guidelines and expectations for performance and conduct. Fort Wayne FC home matches run mostly on Saturday evenings from May 2 through October 24, with a few Wednesday matches. Additional stadium event dates will vary.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of food handling, sanitation, and customer service principles.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and courteously with guests, coworkers, and supervisors.
  • Ability to follow instructions, adhere to procedures, and work effectively in a fast paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and operating POS systems.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive, professional attitude during high volume periods.
  • Must complete required stadium training, including food safety, cash handling, and guest service modules.
  • Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work event driven schedules.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous food service, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
  • 21+ ONLY for alcohol service roles

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food and beverage items according to stadium standards and recipes to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately, process payments, and follow all cash handling procedures to maintain financial integrity.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and guest facing areas to meet health department and stadium sanitation requirements.
  • Restock products, condiments, utensils, and supplies throughout the event to support continuous service.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and allergen awareness protocols to ensure guest safety.
  • Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to all guests, assisting with questions and resolving minor concerns.
  • Support stand setup and breakdown, including equipment preparation, product organization, and end of event cleaning.
