About The Position

Summary: THE CONCESSIONS CASHIER PLAYS A KEY ROLE IN DELIVERING AN EXCEPTIONAL GUEST EXPERIENCE DURING GAMES, CONCERTS, AND SPECIAL EVENTS AT THE DELTA CENTER. THIS POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CONDUCTING STAND OPERATIONS, ENSURING HIGH-QUALITY FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE, AND SUPPORTING A CLEAN, SAFE, AND GUEST-FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT.

Requirements

Food handling experience preferred but not required.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Must be able to work felixible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
Familiarity with food safety standards and POS systems.
Must be at least 16 years old.
Must obtain a valid Utah Food Handlers Permit.

Responsibilities

Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion.
Enters all sales into the POS system to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
Accepts declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment, issues receipts to customers.
Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
Responsible for all payment receipts & ensuring that stand inventory is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
Observes customer purchases in line and differntiates between standard portions.
Replenishes condiments, beverages, and general suuplies while maintaining cleanliness of serivce areas.
Keeps grab & go areas, fridges & Freezers stocked throughout service.
Ensures compliance with Levy service standards, inventory and payment control procedures.
