Concessions Cashier - State Farm Arena
About The Position
Summary: The Concessions Cashier is responsible for being able to accurately ring up and sell product in an efficient manner. The Cashier should be comfortable approaching guests to offer services and sell products. In addition, the Cashier must be willing to help fellow team members complete tasks.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion. Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Observes customer purchases in the cafe line and differentiates between standard portions. Replenishes condiments, coffee, other beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas. Keeps pastry case stocked. Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures. Ensures compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in food service or hospitality industry.
- Previous cash register experience is preferred.
- An outgoing personality is preferred.
- The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with both team members and guests, demonstrate strong conflict resolution skills, and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
- The candidate should have a working knowledge of food and beverage offerings, inventory support, and guest service standards.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Must be able to work all Hawks home games.
Nice To Haves
- Previous cash register experience is preferred.
- An outgoing personality is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Completes and follows up on steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction
- Understands and can describe menu offerings, packaging/presentation and pricing
- Helps with inventory and product management for the stand
- Conflict resolutions and de-escalation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods of time throughout the day.
- Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion.
