About The Position

The Concessions Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. This role adheres to all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations, including serving alcoholic beverages responsibly. The bartender will set up assigned bars, stock all necessary items, and maintain product quality. They will greet guests, take drink orders, mix and garnish drinks according to standard recipes, and practice portion control. Additionally, the bartender will check guest identification, detect and act upon guest inebriation, handle cash transactions, and secure the bank and all beverage products at the end of the shift. General cleaning tasks to maintain health and safety standards, arranging bar displays, and washing stemware are also key responsibilities. This position is with Levy at the Kia Center.

Requirements

• Must be able to adhere to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Must be able to set up assigned bars; requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce.
• Must be able to maintain stock, prepare, cure and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
• Must be able to greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
• Must be able to take and/or process orders for drinks; mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes; practice prudent portion control.
• Must be able to check guests at the bar for proper identification.
• Must be able to detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws.
• Must be able to receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges and ensure vouchers are properly executed.
• Must be able to lock up and store all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits and cash drops; secure bank.
• Must be able to perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keep work area clean and organized.
• Must be able to arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
• Must be able to wash and sterilize stemware.
• Must be able to perform other duties as assigned.
• Certain positions may require Florida Level 2 background screening.
