About The Position

Concessions workers are responsible for a variety of tasks related to the preparation and sale of food, beverages, and other items at IceLand Arena.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Must be available to work evenings and Saturday and Sunday shifts
• Must be able to read and write English
• Must have good math skills for handing cash transactions

Nice To Haves

• Candidates will be trained and do not need experience in food handling.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and assembling food items such as popcorn, hot dogs, pretzels, and nachos, as well as pouring drinks and serving snacks.
• Interacting with customers, taking orders, processing payments, and providing information about the menu items or special promotions.
• Operating cash registers, handling cash, credit card transactions, and sometimes handling large volumes of transactions quickly and accurately.
• Monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and ensuring that food and beverage items are available throughout the event.
• Keeping the work area clean and sanitary, following food safety guidelines, and ensuring that all equipment and utensils are properly sanitized.
• Working with other concessions staff to ensure that operations run smoothly, particularly during busy times.
