About The Position
The Concession Associate is responsible for assisting the Vessel Concession Manager to maintain their vessel in order to generate sales that will maximize revenue. The Concession Associate will assist in the set-up, daily activities and closing of their vessel concessions. The individual is also responsible for exemplary customer servicing, serving as the face of the company.
Requirements
- Customer service experience is required.
- Previous cash handling/food handling experience required.
- Outstanding communication skills and organizational skills.
- Basic mathematical skills are also required.
- Flexibility to work evening, weekend and holiday hours.
Responsibilities
- Completing tasks delegated by Concession Vessel Manager such as stocking/re-stocking and cleaning.
- Assisting with the set up and closing of the vessel concession each business day.
- Maintaining a sanitary environment and equipment each business day.
- Adhering to all company policies such as uniform and cell phone policies.
- Interacting as needed with fellow Statue Cruises crew at all points of embarkation.
- Assisting Statue Cruises crew in the event of an emergency in accordance with safety drill protocols.
- Communicating questions, concerns or problems to Concession Vessel Manager and/or supervisors.
- Performing cashier duties as needed.
- Exhibiting superior customer service skills.
- Serving as an information source for customers.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
