About The Position

Responsible for processing, preparing and delivering guest orders. Operates a cash register, ringing the proper amount into the register and giving guest the correct change. Responsibilities (The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all inclusive for specific positions.) 1. Interacts with guests and co-workers in a helpful, positive, upbeat, and professional manner while taking food/beverage orders, accepting payment through cash, credit, check and delivery of order to guests 2. Monitors and replenishes all food/beverage products in work area by stocking counters and displays in a neat, accurate and timely fashion. 3. Prepares a variety of food orders and beverage orders accurately and in a timely fashion according to outlet standards. 4. Operate electronic cash register system to accurately and immediately account for payment transactions and transports monies to and from the main credit cage. 5. Follow established food and safety standards. 6. Uses and maintains all assigned areas and equipment in a sanitary, safe and effective manner. 7. Perform all job functions in conjunction with the guidelines described in the Standard Operating Procedures manual to ensure consistent execution of company and department standards. 8. Ensure that all unused food items are stored properly. 9. Ensure dining and serving areas are set up, clean and maintained according to standard. 10. Ensures that condiments are refilled regularly 11. Performs other duties as assigned by management. 12. Shift ending cleaning duties and stocking are completed as assigned. 13. Maintain work area in a safe condition, taking care of spills and other hazards as necessary. Qualifications Excellent guest service and communication skills. Must be a team player. Demonstrated money-handling and math skills Demonstrated ability to operate computerized cash register. Must be able to work in fast paced, stressful environment with the ability to respond calmly and maintain composure. Ability to be physically mobile, and stand/walk for 8 to 12- hour shifts. Must present a neat, well-groomed, professional appearance and demeanor always. Regular and punctual attendance is required. These skills and abilities are typically acquired through at least 6 months on-the-job training or experience directly related to the accountabilities specified.
