About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting in the operations of a sports facility concession stand at the Sperling Sports Complex.

Requirements

• Ability to provide excellent guest service
• Ability to handle cash properly, including accepting payments via cash, debit, and credit cards.
• Ability to count cash and give correct change.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and dependable.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours that includes nights, weekends and possibly holidays.
• Ability to stand, stoop, and bend for long periods of time.
• Ability to reach, climb, walk, stand, kneel, bend, stoop, and push.
• Ability to operate equipment.
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Normal hearing.
• Ability to maintain 20/20 vision or corrected to 20/100.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective communication with other employees and the general public.

Nice To Haves

• Prior customer service experience is preferred.
• High school graduation or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service while working in a sometimes fast paced environment
• Serve food and beverages to customers
• Proper cash handling including greet and service guests at the registers, taking orders, and accepting payments, cash or debit and credit cards.
• Replenish foods at serving stations
• Prepare food such as hot dogs, popcorn, nachos.
• Prepare bills for food and drink using cash register, calculators.
• Accept payment and make change
• Clean and sanitize equipment, counter tops, floors, dishes
• Stock and restock items as necessary
