About The Position

The Concession Staff position is a part-time, seasonal position located at the Civic Center Aquatic Park - 5 Ashlawn Ave, Montgomery, IL 60538. The Concession Staff reports to the Aquatics Coordinator, who reports to the Aquatics Supervisor. The primary responsibility of the Concession Staff is to provide concession services to patrons in an efficient friendly manner in accordance to all health department regulations.

Requirements

Must be 16 years or older.
Ability to work systematically, rapidly and cheerfully.
Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task.
Possess strong math and money handling skills.
Ability to operate concession and computer equipment.
Understand and exhibit behavior consistent with stated values of the Park District.
Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

Significant involvement in serving food in accordance to the Illinois Health Department regulations.
Significant involvement in communicating with, but not limited to, staff, customers, and park district management.
Significant involvement in money handling.
Considerable involvement in maintaining cleanliness of the work area.
Some involvement in record keeping.
Other duties as assigned.
