About The Position

The expectation of this position is that the employee performs their duties and responsibilities in an efficient and effective manner. Furthermore, the expectation is to perform these duties while working as a part of a team. This position involves working in a unique environment. This is an event based venue and has characteristics that are inherent to an event based industry. We are licensed to carry and serve alcohol, and this is a very large part of our business. The majority of the positions we hire, come into contact with alcohol. This is not only an event based work environment; but is also a sports stadium, and as such is subject to crowds, lots of noise, and intoxicated guests. The safety of our employees is of the utmost importance, measures are taken to mitigate and reduce risk.

Requirements

Must have flexible availability with schedule and able to work different shifts
Must be bondable, and pass an employer administered background check.
Must be able to demonstrate basic mathematical skills
Must possess a valid Smart Serve Certificate
English is the working language at this job location. Candidate must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English.

Nice To Haves

French is considered an asset, but is not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Candidate will be involved extensively within the concession team.
Carefully enters all sales into the POS to ensure that all purchases are accurately recorded.
Processes credit card transactions, and issues receipts to customers.
Processes and executes all vouchers correctly.
Performs sales transactions in a reasonable and timely fashion.
Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
Required to replenish condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
Must be able to effectively communicate with managers/supervisors/team lead and co-workers to effectively accomplish goals.
Must be able to operate equipment such as cash registers, calculators, coolers, and beverage machines.
Must interact with co-workers in a friendly and cohesive manner.
Must assure compliance with company service standards, company inventory and cash control procedures.
Completes closing cleaning tasks and restocking of assigned concessions area, ensuring the Team Lead signs off on the completion of these tasks.
Follows and maintains all HSQA policies and standards.
Must wear proper PPE including non-slip shoes and hair coverings.
All other tasks as delegated by manager/supervisor/team lead.
