About The Position

We are seeking a talented Concept Artist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for translating the essence of content creators into 2D collectibles. You will research and capture their personality, mood, content, community, and other defining features. The ideal candidate will be adept at quickly creating initial concepts, incorporating feedback, and iterating on designs. You will also interpret your 2D concepts into turnarounds for 3D modeling and create supplemental 2D assets for our 3D modelers, all while meeting design deadlines.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in concept art/drawing/sketching
• Strong experience using Photoshop, Illustrator or Procreate
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize and problem solve
• Strong understanding of art fundamentals: colour theory, perspective and proportions
• Visual development best-practices: roughs, silhouettes, lineups.
• Excellent visual eye and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• Experience with 3D Programs such as Maya and Z-Brush
• Experience with traditional art such as painting or sculpting
• Degree in Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration, Animation or a related discipline
• Portfolios using AI will not be considered
