About The Position
Cleveland-Cliffs has immediate openings for Concentrating Plant Attendants at our Tilden Mine operation located in Ishpeming, Michigan. This position provides support for the concentrating process.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Have the ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions and procedure manuals
- Excellent safety record and genuine concern for safety in the workplace
- Excellent attendance record
- Must be willing to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience working in an industrial plant setting
Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections on plant equipment
- Attend to plant equipment in the grinding, crushing, concentrating, dewatering and other areas as required
- Perform plant clean-up duties such as hosing floors and shoveling
- Operate small equipment (i.e. loaders, forklifts, ect.)
- Other duties as assigned
