About The Position

COMSEC Logistics Manager TS/SCI is required Ogden UT Position is responsible for leading a team and providing COMSEC Logistics Support within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, such as HQ Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and Military Departments efforts. Position will provide “day-to-day” support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities. Performance shall include: (may be modified with concurrence of the Contracting Officer and contractor Program Manager). Utilize the COMSEC Accounting Reporting Database System (CARDS) to distribute COMSEC equipment for validated needs of users. Consolidate and analyze COMSEC equipment requirements utilizing both user input and historical data to create a justifiable overall COMSEC requirement. Through failure trend analysis recommend adequate stockpile of COMSEC equipment ancillaries including but not limited to; batteries, cables, software, and power supplies. Participate in technical interchanges and vendor briefs to understand future developments of COMSEC equipment and translate that into an equipment management and technology strategy. Provide suggestions for equipment testing and evaluation to prove suitability prior to widespread procurement. Provide recommendations for COMSEC equipment solutions for new requirements and technological refresh. Identify equipment that requires technology upgrade or replacement and present options. Act as COMSEC maintenance technician for COMSEC Manager Obtain and sustain technical expertise on troubleshooting and organic level repair of common COMSEC equipment including but not limited to; SKL, STE, Viper, OMNI, KG 175B, KG 175D, KG 250 and KG 250X. Act as COMSEC Responsible Officer for Local Element (LE). Process all inbound and outbound COMSEC key and equipment using CARDS. Store, protect, operate, and maintain all equipment for LE. Maintain all required paperwork, training and reporting for LE. Periodically instruct up to 7 individuals in a classroom environment on the proper use of COMSEC equipment including but not limited to; SKL, STE, and VIPER. Periodically field trouble calls from remote customers to assist the operation of their COMSEC equipment. Provide leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance for Team Members.

Requirements

  • 5 + years of related experience
  • Skills: Logistics Support, Procurement, Technical Knowledge, Technical Training, Troubleshooting
  • US Citizenship Required
  • Security Clearance: Top Secret with SCI level Access
  • Must be able to obtain eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
  • Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph
  • Experience: 5 - 7 years related experience.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree in a related area + 2 years’ experience OR equivalent experience (4 years).
