About The Position

Are you looking for an opportunity to use your COMSEC technical skills in support of the F-35 air system cryptographic and key management architecture? As a COMSEC Engineer you will provide guidance on the design of equipment, necessary support, and recommend tasks to Government security leads. You'll support certification and accreditation activities for operation systems to include compliance with the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF). You will assist with obtaining approval of cryptographic changes to F-35 High Assurance Devices (HAD), such as the End Cryptographic Units (ECUs) as well as new developments of F-35 HADs.

Requirements

4+ years of experience developing COMSEC key architectures, and in End Cryptological Unit (ECU) deliverables, process, and certification
Experience with cryptographic algorithms
Knowledge of UIC processes and KMI and EKMS systems
Ability to coordinate effectively across Government, contractor, and external stakeholders
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

Experience with F-35 Joint Program Office and DoD Communications Security policies, directions, instructions, and manuals
DoD program COMSEC Certification

Responsibilities

Provide guidance on the design of equipment, necessary support, and recommend tasks to Government security leads.
