About The Position

Greenfield Engineering, a Saalex Company, is seeking a meticulous and trustworthy COMSEC (Communications Security) Clerk to support mission-critical operations. The role supports the administrative management and physical security of COMSEC material and helps ensure compliance with security protocols and the integrity of secure communications. This is a full-time, fully onsite position at Patuxent River (Pax River), Maryland. The clerk works under the guidance of the COMSEC Account Manager (CAM).

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow strict procedures and protocols.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be eligible for designation in writing by the Commanding Officer and be PQS (Personnel Qualification Standard) qualified.
• At least 3 years of related experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Active Top Secret clearance required, with the ability to obtain Yankee White Clearance for Presidential Support Program access.
• U.S. citizenship and a security investigation are among the requirements for obtaining a clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Prior military experience in a communications- or security-related field (MOS/Rate).
• Experience with the Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) or Key Management Infrastructure (KMI).
• Successful completion of a COMSEC Custodian course.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties supporting the COMSEC account, including file maintenance and record-keeping.
• Assist with page checks and enter amendments and corrections into COMSEC-related publications.
• Uphold Two-Person Integrity (TPI) for security containers holding TOP SECRET keying material.
• Serve as an official witness for the receipt, inventory, and destruction of COMSEC materials.
• Assist in applying appropriate status markings to COMSEC material.
• Accompany personnel to maintain TPI during transport, pickup, and processing of sensitive materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
