About The Position

The CT Technologist will be responsible for providing quality diagnostic imaging for medical interpretation. Duties will include: operating CT equipment, handling patients, venipuncture, post-processing of images, patient transport, working with electronic medical records, and communication with physicians, and other services. This position also includes call and holidays.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Graduate of an approved Radiology program
New graduate or less than one (1) year of CT experience
Registry eligible or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
An Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License must be obtained before the start date.
CT Advanced Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists must be obtained within 12 months of the date of hire
Ability to Follow Oral Instruction, Read, and Write
Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in Radiological Sciences
1 or more years of experience as a CT technologist
Advanced Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed Tomography

Responsibilities

Call and holiday coverage
Communicate with patients, physicians, clinics, and other services in the hospital in an effective, professional, and courteous manner.
Responsible for maintaining their professional license(s), National Registry, and all annual competencies.
