About The Position
This position involves teaching computer skills to elementary school students. The role requires curriculum development, lesson planning, student assessment, and communication with parents regarding student progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 1 year of experience as a Computer Teacher at the elementary school level.
- Teaching experience must be full-time as a teacher of record (not substitute).
- Teaching experience must be in a general education setting (not special population).
Responsibilities
- Prepare appropriate curriculum and annual plan for administration approval.
- Teach elementary school students in Computer subject.
- Apply the prepared and approved curriculum.
- Keep attendance records.
- Assign lessons.
- Administer tests to evaluate students' progress.
- Maintain discipline in the classroom.
- Create lesson plans.
- Correct homework.
- Evaluate teacher-made tests.
- Prepare tests to evaluate students' progress.
- Record test results.
- Issue reports to inform parents of progress.
- Contact parents to offer positive reinforcement regarding social and academic achievements.
