About The Position

Predicate Logic is looking for a motivated Computer Systems Analyst to join our team in Norfolk, VA. Predicate Logic also has offices in Chesapeake, Virginia, specializing in communications engineering, training, and Cybersecurity, and in Charleston, South Carolina, supporting the Navy and Marine Corps programs through Naval Information Warfare Center Charleston. Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of Computerized System experience, to include: Design, Development, Test and Evaluation, Network Protocols, LAN administration fundamentals, and UNIX and Windows based operating system.
  • Demonstrated technical experience in support of TACNET, or other Navy C4I systems.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Individual shall be working towards the relevant vendor/platform specific certification such as: Microsoft role-based certifications, Microsoft Certified Applicable s Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), Cloud certifications, etc.
  • Cybersecurity Work Force (CSWF) qualified in 9 months.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems.
  • Assess the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them to a user environment.
  • Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility so that information can be shared.
  • Develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
