About The Position

Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Sector is seeking a Computer Systems Analysis Manager 2 in the Edwards AFB area to ensure the security, reliability, and availability of systems/platforms in support of national defense. This Information Technology/Systems Management role involves leading teams of PC Desktop Technicians, System Administrators, and Network Engineers across multiple enterprises, programs, and efforts. The candidate should possess a broad skill set encompassing interpersonal, business, and technical capabilities, with the ability to collaborate effectively within and across teams. A commitment to ethics, integrity, and innovation is essential, as are excellent verbal and written communication skills for successful engagement with internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • Associate degree and 7 years of experience OR Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience OR Master's degree with 3 years of management experience; 9 years of experience may be considered in lieu of completed degree.
  • Active DOD Secret clearance.
  • Must have the ability to maintain, access to Special Access Programs as a condition of continued employment.
  • IAM Level I certification (ex: Security+ CE) or greater.
  • Experience with Microsoft Server/software.
  • Experience with virtualization.

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Information Technology discipline
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance
  • Experience operating under and managing systems within NISPOM Chapter 8, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG information system environments

Responsibilities

  • Leading a team performing direct work on Information Systems.

  • Using good judgement to pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.
  • Working closely with program-assigned technicians, systems engineers, and management to ensure computer systems and software stay in a high state of readiness.
  • Maintaining a high quality of system efficiency.
  • Overseeing and managing the quality and timeliness of the organization’s deliverables and identifying and remediating potential issues before they become problems.
  • Creating work assignments for local team.
