About The Position
One of our clients is seeking a Computer System Programmer to join their Engineering team responsible for the development, maintenance, and reliability of cloud-based applications on DoD platform environments.
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science or finance with CS or related focus area
- 4–6 years of professional experience in application development, systems programming, or IT process automation, ideally within a federal or DoD/DHS environment.
- Hands-on experience building applications/workflows on Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and/or SharePoint (forms, lists, workflows).
- Working knowledge of OCR technologies and/or intelligent document processing tools and how they integrate into business rule engines.
- Understanding basic data analysis and data integration concepts (APIs, data mapping, data validation).
- Strong written communication skills for producing technical documentation suitable for Government review.
- Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments with frequent stakeholder feedback cycles.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with process automation concepts, and some implementation experience with RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate Desktop, Blue Prism) would be preferred, familiarity acceptable.
- Familiarity and some experience with Federal financial accounting concepts and accounting systems would be preferred
