The Computer Support Specialist, Senior acts as a subject matter expert for computing systems within assigned units, serving as a liaison with central IT, and ensuring robust and secure technology operations across administrative and academic units. This role also acts as a liaison between departmental units and information technology, provides information on IT services, recommends hardware and software upgrades and replacements, and researches and evaluates new software and hardware. The position is responsible for preparing documentation for internal and external technology knowledge needs.
