About The Position

The Computer Support Intern for the Netrix Global team will work onsite full-time at our K-12 school’s client locations. This individual is responsible for working closely with clients and cross functional support teams to manage and maintain the technology used by these customers. This is a full-time summer position lasting up to 12 weeks during the summer months and will involve using both technology and business skills in support of our client’s environment. The position requires technical workstation knowledge, and basic knowledge of both Microsoft Windows, Apple OSX, and/or Google Chrome operating systems, basic network administration and troubleshooting skills. Interns will possess attention to detail, business intuition, excellent verbal and written skills, and the ability to professionally conduct oneself to all levels of the corporate structure. This position will require travel within your region therefore adequate transportation is a requirement - utilizing public transportation and/or personal vehicle where necessary. Travel costs will not be reimbursed. Interns will be provided a laptop during the internship to access Microsoft productivity suite, Google Apps, and internet. Email access via outlook and google workspace suite.

Responsibilities

  • Google Chromebook setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Cable management for Google Chromebook carts
  • Windows workstation quality assurance check, management, and inventory
  • Management of cabling infrastructure and relocation/unboxing of hardware
  • Technical documentation
  • Basic network troubleshooting: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and WiFi
