About The Position
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Computer Science Co-op to join our TEF (Technical Engineering Function) team in Fountain Inn, United States. This cooperative education opportunity will provide hands-on experience in business process systems and industrial engineering applications, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge to real-world scenarios. Support the TEF6 IE group with digitalization projects and automated reporting using VBA and other computer languages / tools Collect and analyze data to identify areas for process improvement with TEF7 group - equipment digitalization Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions using AI solutions and support Prepare reports and presentations on project findings and recommendations Participate in continuous improvement initiatives Assist in the development of operator work instructions as needed Support the team in various computer science related improvement projects as needed - i4.0 related
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field
- 2.5 min. GPA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic understanding of business process analysis and improvement principles
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Enthusiasm for learning and applying new concepts in a professional setting
- Relevant coursework or academic projects in computer science, programming, machine languages, automation and AI capabilities
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
Nice To Haves
- Basic PowerBI experience preferred
