About The Position

Microanalysis Co-Op - Fall 2026 Here at Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue the mission. The Role: Our site in Billerica, MA is seeking a Microanalysis Co-Op to join our team for the Fall 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. In this role, you will join Entegris’ Micro-analysis team, which is developing a method to evaluate the particle size distribution or pore size distribution based on SEM or 3D confocal images. You will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge analytical instruments and contribute to method development and routine analytical services.

Requirements

  • Open-minded and eager to learn new techniques.
  • Strong data analysis and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge in analytical or organic chemistry or digital imaging analysis.
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Must be a currently enrolled student
  • Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in mid-May/June through August/September.
  • Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program
  • Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for co-ops/internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery.
  • Routine work in a cleanroom

Nice To Haves

  • Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science.
  • Graduation Year: 2027 or later

Responsibilities

  • Perform and present analytical test results to Senior Scientists and Engineers.
  • Become proficient in advanced analytical tools including: Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), Confocal 3D Fluorescence Microscope, Microscope FTIR
  • Develop and iterate upon test methodologies.
  • Discuss test results and suggest future project directions.
  • Support routine analytical services by analyzing samples from other teams.
