IT Co-op - Fall 2026
About The Position
The Co-op/Intern in our IT Security and Infrastructure organization will play a key role on projects on our IT Roadmap that result in improved efficiency as well as security of our environment. We are in the process of consolidating our infrastructure and security solutions on the Microsoft, Cisco & Software as a Service based tools. The role will work very closely with IT technical leadership as well as our broader employee base in change adoption. The technologies will encompass our Microsoft Azure environments, access management, mobile technologies, network operations and data management solutions.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in computer science or IT Security with an interest learning cloud, desktop, mobile, networking, IT Security & active directory technologies.
- Familiarity with Security Frameworks such as NIST or Zero Trust
- Basic project leadership skills to both organize, coordinate and communicate actions and results
- Able to work in a hybrid environment with at least 3 days per week in the office
- Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

- Base knowledge with Microsoft and Cisco technologies
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis to identify & recommend best practice for both implementation & administration of technologies
- Serve as project leader in key initiatives
- Work closely with technology vendors
- Create documentation and deliver employee training on new technology
- Conduct testing to ensure solutions meet requirements and intended use objectives
- Work through resolution of post implementation issues
- Define and implement streamlined processes where technology is changing how people work
- Play an active role in the AtriCure change management and compliance processes
- Regular and predictable work performance

- Ability to prioritize various duties and multitask as required
- Ability to successfully work with others
- Ability to communicate & interact with all levels of the organization
