About The Position

This position will serve as a budget analyst for the Division of Technology and Innovation within the Resource Management section. The person in this position is expected to manage the division's IT spend plans and cost recovery activities. This position requires extensive experience in Microsoft Excel. The Florida Department of Education (FDOE) has an open position that is responsible for executing the following functions: The employee works directly for the Division of Technology and Innovation (DTI) contract and procurement manager and other division personnel on coordinating and reporting budget related projects and assignments that span all DOE offices. These may include, but are limited to: DTI Spend Plans, Working Capital Trust Fund Cost Recovery Plan, and Other DTI managed cost allocation plans. The employee will also assist the DTI contract management team with background clearance for DTI contractors. Other assigned duties may also be required. The employee works directly with information technology budget issues, procurement and financial reporting. The employee has access to data and information which shall be used for business purposes only. Confidentiality of this information will be maintained at all times.
