About The Position
Under limited supervision, the Computer Operator monitors BPE/TPE transactions and environmental, security, electrical, and UPS systems. The role checks network systems to ensure statewide access, works with hardware and software vendors, and ensures all printed output is high quality and defect-free. This is a W2 role based in Atlanta, Georgia. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., and an in-person interview is required.
Requirements
- Vocational/technical degree in a related field from an accredited college.
- Two years of related experience.
Nice To Haves
- Significant experience as a Computer Operations Operator in a large data center.
- Experience with a Network Operations Center (NOC).
- Experience with production control.
- Experience with distributed servers running AIX, Linux, and Windows.
- Experience with data center security, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Experience with Control-M and TPE/BPE Manager.
