About The Position

CompTech is seeking a Computer Operator to join our team supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in Norfolk, VA. This is a great opportunity for an early-career IT professional who already has some Help Desk or Deskside Support experience and is ready to take the next step. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to enterprise computer systems, hardware, software, operating systems, system operations, and troubleshooting while working alongside experienced technical professionals in a structured DoD environment. If you have at least one year of IT support experience, enjoy solving technical problems, and want an opportunity to build valuable federal IT / Cyber Security experience, this could be an excellent next step. This position requires local travel (typically to & from various locations on Base) using personal vehicle, company van, cart or other motorized vehicle.

Requirements

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
One (1) year of Help Desk or Deskside Support experience.
Secret Security Clearance Requirements: Secret

Nice To Haves

Service Now experience a plus
DLA CE Cert IA Role/Function: Help Desk Tier II & III - may be obtained upon hire
Security+ CE – may be obtained within the first 3 months of hire.
