About The Position

ServiceSource is a non-profit organization that champions people with disabilities and hires individuals with significant disabilities for many of its direct labor positions. The Computer Operator III role involves processing scheduled routines, operating the system, and resolving common error conditions. This position also requires diagnosing and acting on machine stoppages and error conditions that are not covered by existing procedures. The Computer Operator III may deviate from standard procedures when necessary and refers complex problems to supervisory staff. This role provides data through ad hoc queries and reports by operating a computer and performs defined tasks according to documented instructions and processes. Additionally, the Computer Operator III serves as the Assistant Personnel Automation Section (PAS) Chief, providing functional systems administrative support for Army standard automated HR systems/applications like IPPS-A and ISM. Responsibilities include monitoring the quality of the local personnel processing database, assisting supported units with transaction processing errors and database inconsistencies, processing system user access requests, and maintaining a user access spreadsheet. The role also encompasses performing all IPPS-A duties required of the Personnel Automation Section, such as HR System Administrator, Report/Adhoc Manager, Provider Group Administrator, CRM processor, Validator, Key Enabling Entity Bundle (KEEB) Validator, and Training Resource Administrator (TRA). All other contract-related duties as assigned.

  • Ability to serve as the Assistant Personnel Automation Section (PAS) Chief.

  • Ability to perform all other contract-related duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to obtain documentation of a significant disability as per the JWOD Act for the majority of direct labor positions.

  • Serves as the Assistant Personnel Automation Section (PAS) Chief.
  • Provides functional systems administrative support for users of Army standard automated HR systems/applications to include IPPS-A, ISM, etc.
