About The Position

Provide DevSecOps and Agile IT support services for operational mission support for the systems under the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Information Systems Division (ISD) portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, or related field or at minimum IT Certification. Two () years' experience is equivalent to one (1) years of education.
  • Two (2) years of performing security remediation to systems with vulnerabilities based on security scans.
  • Two (2) years of experience designing, analyzing, evaluating, configuring, troubleshooting, and implementing network solutions.
  • One (1) year of experience in an Agile DevSecOps software and engineering environment and Methodologies.
  • One (1) year of experience Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket or equivalent.
  • Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and support an organization's Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.
  • Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
  • Performs a variety of network engineering tasks which are broad in nature and are concerned with the design and implementation of integrated networks, including personal, hardware, software and support facilities and/or equipment.
  • Installs; configures and maintains software in a client/server networked environment. Installs LANs as well as WANs.
  • Assists in providing technical documentation to support installation activities.
  • Assists with Customer on-site surveys.
  • Participates in the preparation of drawings and reports documenting and recording on-site activities.
  • Interfaces with customers, end users and team members for site activities as directed.
  • Performs systems checkout/test and introductory training as required.
  • Perform trips to customer sites for installations, surveys, and audits.
