About The Position

The University of Arkansas is seeking a Computer Lab Technician to assist students with hardware and software issues. This role involves working closely with students, staff, and faculty, requiring excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities include answering technical questions, troubleshooting printing problems, and managing equipment check-outs for students, staff, and faculty. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is essential, as is the ability to maintain positive working relationships.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the operations of personal computers and the functions of various software

Responsibilities

  • Assist students with hardware and software.
