About The Position
Significance, Inc. is seeking a Computer Engineer to support a federal program, contingent upon award. The position is onsite at Port Hueneme, California, five days a week, and requires an active Secret Clearance. The Computer Engineer will use Agile Scrum processes to facilitate In-Service-Engineering teams performing hardware engineering, software development, and installation execution tasks. The role includes supporting teams in organizing and completing planned work on schedule and documenting Scrum business rules for use across multiple teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in computer design, software development, or computer networks.
- Experience with Agile Scrum.
- Active Secret Clearance.

- Experience supporting Navy programs.
- Familiarity with Navy combat systems and lifecycle support.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily Scrum meetings.
- Assist in creating and organizing backlogs so planned tasks are executed and completed on schedule.
- Coordinate sprint backlog scrub, sprint planning, and sprint retrospective meetings.
- Help teams focus on priority tasks during each sprint.
- Document Agile Scrum business rules for implementation across multiple Scrum teams.
- Facilitate the incorporation of lessons learned so teams can complete more tasking efficiently.
