About The Position

This role will focus on building complex system hardware and software solutions for a next generation aviation product. The ideal candidate will have experience working across physical and virtual computing environments including computer hardware, Operating Systems (Linux), networking, and containerization. Requirements

• Bachelors degree
• Active Secret clearance
• Hands-on experience with hardware/software system integration and troubleshooting
• Strong experience working in Linux computing environments, including operating system configuration, administration, and troubleshooting
• Experience with physical and virtual network configuration and administration
• Strong understanding of computing system architecture, hardware components, and virtual machines
• Experience automating system configuration and deployment using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar languages
• Ability to troubleshoot problems across multiple layers of a system, from physical hardware and networking through operating systems and applications
• Experience integrating and configuring systems in a lab, test, or operational environments
• Must be a US Citizen with an active security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement hardware/software systems to support Summit TRC and our customers
• Integrate and configure computing hardware, network systems, and software into complete system solutions
• Automate the configuration and deployment of new and existing VMs and computing systems
• Configure, integrate, and troubleshoot Operating Systems and network components
• Develop scripts to automate system, network, and software installation and configuration using tools like Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.
• Troubleshoot systems level issues across hardware, operating systems, network, and virtualization
• Continuously improve and reiterate hardware and software prototypes
• Support systems integration, troubleshooting, and test events
