About The Position
The Computer Engineer IV supports the NSWC Crane Model-Based Engineering Assessment Division (Code MXM) on the MXM EMSO effort, executing assigned Technical Instructions under Government technical direction in support of the RDT&E, mission engineering, modeling and simulation, and Fleet-support tasking defined in the SOW/PWS. The position requires expertise in object-oriented programming, design patterns, design methods, and best industry practice. The Computer Engineer IV performs assigned work in accordance with Team quality, configuration-management, and security requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited institution.
- Expertise in object-oriented programming, design patterns, design methods, and best industry practice.
- Active DoD SECRET security clearance (or interim) required and must be maintained.
- Required work location: NSWCCR / Contractor Facility.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred education: Masters/Doctorate.
- TS/SCI eligibility preferred.
